If you’ve ever wished you could get your hands on that friend or colleague’s phone and send a cheeky text, well, you are able to without ever laying a finger on their keypad.

Anonymous text messages sent from any number you desire is what’s on offer for the modern day prankster, providing a fast effective service for some light-hearted tricks. If you want all the fun of the shenanigan with none of the effort then this is what you need.

Maybe it’s not a trick you want to pull, could someone need a nudge in the right direction to let that special someone know how they feel, now you can help them along the way. Play your own little game of matchmaker and see if you can brighten someone’s day.

SneakSMS not only lets you send the texts, you can delay them so you may even see first hand the results of your work as you can be there when the text arrives! With SneakSMS providing coverage to over 500 networks your friends really shouldn’t count themselves safe.

Why not set a delay of a few hours and enjoy watching the reaction it gets. What more fun can you have than seeing your handy work written all over someone’s face. Maybe it won’t be just one person you play the joke on, who knows what chaos you could cause with two texts! Get all your friends or colleagues in on it and see what frivolities occur.

Remember they’ll never know it was you (as long as you never tell)!

SneakSMS have launched their mobile-originated anonymous sms service!

Sorry it’s been a while since we last posted, but we’ve been working hard on a new feature!

You can now send anonymous SMS from your own mobile phone without the need for internet access.

Here’s how you do it:

1) Make sure you have a SneakSMS account with credit on it.

2) Create a new SMS message on your phone in the following format:

[DESTINATION NUMBER] [SENDER ID] [MESSAGE]

So for example…. 447712345123 9876 SneakSMS is great

This would send a message to 447712345123, from 9876 saying SneakSMS is great.

3) Send the message to our dedicated SMS number: +441273358661 (yes, this is a landline number but it will receive your text message and your operator should charge you the standard rate for sending a message).

It’s as simple as that!

The credit will be deducted from your account automatically and the message will be delivered within seconds.

Please note that messages received to +441273358661 will only be processed if they’re sent from the same number you used when registering your account with us.

Well, that’s the point of SneakSMS anyway!

Our anonymous SMS service allows you to send prank text messages, enabling you to choose who the message appears from.

We provide global coverage and fast delivery.

We continually improve our services, offering new features at no extra cost. SneakSMS is the future of anonymous text messaging.

Steps being taken by the mobile industry to reduce spam

SneakSMS.com has a strict anti spam policy but others do not…

The GSM Association is beginning measures to tackle junk messages sent by SMS services.

They’re setting up a dedicated short number that recipients of SMS spam can forward the messages they receive to.

Text spam is rapidly increasing, almost certainly due to security issues in local gateways and the reduced costs associated with using rogue gateways.

We require a valid mobile number from every customer who signs up for security reasons, however we NEVER send unsolicited SMS to our customers.

SneakSMS hopes the industry continues to fight hard at tackling SMS spam.
